Serana Dialog Add-On Check Out This Mod Serana is already one of the more life-like NPCs in Skyrim. She will have radiant conversations with barkeeps and order drinks for herself. - Fixed a possible issue for some users with the Companions commentary. This is to make it less intrusive when it first fires, and to have it be friendlier for VR users. While this is vanilla AI before, I don't want Serana doing that in SDA. Anyone who wants to disable and toggle Serana's raise zombie spells will need to download this new patch, and if they use Serana replacers, make their own patches via xEdit. If she is far behind (beyond hearing/conversation distance) she will be teleported to a spot near the player that they can't see (so sort of like a catchup feature). The player can now role-play as someone who remained unaffected by Serana's calm spell, but chose to play along. Upon initiating a short conversation with her (available during the Moth Priest hunt at the earliest) Serana will give you a spell that allows you to summon her from just about anywhere! - Spell Enabling/Disabling voiced responses. I haven't gotten that to work yet, so you'll have to dismiss her yourself. If you really want to, you can technically import Serana still (just make sure she still uses her vanilla follow package and don't use any conflicting features). - Serana can now wear whatever you want her to wear! - Added missing voice lines for final romance quest. Please don't do this quest when specific Dawnguard quests are active in your journal. - Fixed some conditions for Night To Remember quest commentary, - Reduced distance requirement for a lot of NPC banter. . After this update, SDA will now be incompatible with other mods that give Serana custom horses/custom horse support, like Convenient Horses (but a patch for that mod will be provided). - Companions Quest commentary || However, it is also important to note that you SHOULD NOT do the "Silver Hand" quest (the ceremony where you become a werewolf) while any of these Dawnguard quests are currently active in your journal (Chasing Echoes, Beyond Death, Seeking Disclosure, Unseen Visions, Touching the Sky). Serana will greet you as soon as you talk to her, and ask for a final (at least narratively-speaking) date by the coasts of Skyrim. - Reimplemented radiant hello dialogue, in a similar manner to what I did with Whats on Your Mind?. - Alduin bug was fixed previously but delayed. Added in dialogue options to affirm Serana's vampirism, and also completely rewrote the end of the quest (if Serana were to be cured). Serana will still eventually be attracted to the player (should the player have chosen the romance route) but this will be shown more organically and Serana should come off as less horny and/or player-pandering. - Serana can now store items in a dedicated storage inventory without using or equipping them. PLEASE heed this advice as if you don't, you might run into some weird and annoying wonkiness. Tweaked StoryManager conditions for Serana's main quest commentary- added more failsafes to ensure they start and run on time. Seeing that the implementation has changed, this quest record serves no purpose. Bethesda meant only the player to attend the party, no one else. Fixes to a lot of commentaries for the College of Winterhold and Dark Brotherhood not playing. This should now fix the issue with some of her goodbyes not being able to play. An expansion of Serana's dialogue and NPC features to make her a more immersive follower. Serana's radiant greets will no longer run while a serious/dramatic quest is running (which Serana has commentary support for). - Reworked Serana's map marker feature. You can now ask Serana to: - Keep quiet (She won't talk with NPCs, She won't greet you with her radiant greets), - Stop humming (She won't hum whenever she's idle), - Stop referencing non-Tamrielic cultures (Star Wars prequel memes, 4th wall easter eggs), - Reduced follower banter frequency by -25%, - Reduced volume of some Inigo banter lines for volume consistency, - Decreased skill awareness radiant dialogue frequency by -75%. Queen of the Damned now suggested to be run alongside SDA, to compliment the spell buffs by SDA to make her an even more competent sorcerer. - Declining Serana's marriage proposal will no longer gate future Serana Romance content. - Added conditions to the "Trust" quest music track, just more safeguards to ensure that it doesn't keep playing even after the quest is finished. Serana should have less moments where her dialogue animations awkwardly loop, and she should also have overall more varied body movements. So telling her to be quiet should now actually do that, and not make her talk more instead.
